Prayer

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace.

                                                                                     Colossians, Ch. 3, vs. 15.

We hold the following in prayer in the coming week:

– Those who have died, or been injured in the major hospital fire in South Korea:  Pray for both South and North Korea, where tensions have thawed slightly, following their agreement to compete as one team for the forthcoming Winter Olympics in South Kore
All in the world who are caught up in wars: especially remembering those in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.
– The charities that we are supporting:  as we declare our charitable giving from this Church for the past year.  Pray for these organisations, whose names are listed elsewhere on this website.
– The continuing life of our Church: praying especially today for:
Rev’ds. Peter Cornick and Christopher Blissard-Barnes as they visit us again on 28th January to lead our Communion Services;
Our Church Wardens:  who meet this week to continue the process of looking for a new Minister;
– All those who support and run the St Francis Rendezvous Café every fortnight:  Give thanks to God that this venture is proving successful;
– All those involved and leading worship in this Church: giving thanks that during the Interregnum people have been willing to take a leadership role in our Church.
– Any others known to us who are sick or in any other kind of need at this time:  particularly those notified to our prayer network.

We remember those who have passed away at this time of year, and particularly:

Any known or loved by us who have passed away at this time of year.

RIP
