At the start of Epiphany we reflect on the arrival of the Magi to worship the infant Jesus.
Sunday 7th January 2018 First Sunday of Epiphany “Epiphany”
Old Testament Reading:  Isaiah, Ch. 60, vs. 1 – 6;
Gospel:  Matthew, Ch. 2, vs. 1 – 12.
During Epiphany and the weeks before Lent we are studying the Book of Ruth.
Sunday 14th January Second Sunday of Epiphany “Ruth:  Rescued by the Redeemer”
(Hard Times).
Old Testament Reading:  Ruth, Ch. 1, vs. 11 – 18;
Gospel:  Mark, Ch. 1, vs. 4 – 11.
 Sunday 21st January Third Sunday of Epiphany  “Ruth:  Rescued by the Redeemer”
(Down, but not out).
Old Testament Reading:  Ruth, Ch. 2, vs. 17 -21; 
Gospel:  John, Ch. 1, vs. 43 – end.
 Sunday 28th January Fourth Sunday of Epiphany “Ruth:  Rescued by the Redeemer”
