FOOTPRINTS

Footprints is a warm and welcoming inclusive play and support group for children under 5 with additional needs, along with their families or carers. It offers a safe, nurturing environment where children can explore, play, and grow at their own pace.

Families are supported through shared experiences and a strong sense of community, helping everyone feel seen, heard, and valued. Footprints is more than a playgroup—it's a place where lasting connections are made and every step forward is celebrated. Siblings are more than welcome to join especially during the school holidays. Once a month we also have a Health Visitor join us.

Having a child with additional needs is new to me, and I sometimes worry that others will avoid talking to us because they feel uncomfortable or awkward, so it's great to be able to come to footprints for good conversation (and cake) without that fear.

A young boy with short blond hair, wearing a blue shirt, is lying on a green carpeted floor, playing with bubbles and toys. He has an expression of joy with his mouth open and eyes squinting. There is a small toy car, a green container, and other toys nearby. Part of a colorful play mat with a city street design is visible in the top left corner.
